ThirdGen Pilates.
Continuing The Pilates Method with Movement Science

Pilates isn't random exercises, it is a concept. Joseph Pilates designed an intelligent system where each movement prepares the body for the next. Our teaching is rooted in the origin work of Jospeh Pilates and the lineage of Pat Guyton.

Not all Pilates is the same

What sets us apart is how we teach. Our approach addresses the root of your problem.

Grounded in Trusted Teaching

Our teaching is rooted in classical Joseph Pilates principles, carefully passed down through two distinguished Second-Generation Master Teachers (they were trained by students of Joseph Pilates, the creator of Pilates).

We use clear, accessible explanations of anatomy and movement to help you understand how your body is designed to move. This allows you to move with understanding, not confusion. Clients feel worked — but they also feel the relief, ease and clarity when they leave.

Movement That Changes Daily Life

At ThirdGen Pilates, we focus on organising the body and initiating movement correctly, and helping you feel the work in the correct places.

This improves your:

  • Standing posture

  • Walking and running gait

  • Sitting posture

Over time, clients experience reduced pain in their muscles and joints. They feel the improvement in their postural alignment and gain real, functional strength.

A Structured, Thoughtful Process

Our approach begins with:

  • postural assessment

  • discussion of your goals

  • ongoing progress tracking

This allows us to observe your movement patterns, from how you sit to how you stand and walk, and assess how these habits may be contributing to pain.

Our systematic approach helps clients feel safe, supported and confident that their care is intentional and guided.

Education, Not Instruction Alone

We do not simply tell you what to do. We explain why.

As your awareness grows, you begin to recognise poor habits and correct them yourself.

This empowers you to move with greater confidence and control in daily life, long after the session ends.

We are a boutique Pilates studio conveniently located at the NUH Medical Centre, directly connected to Kent Ridge MRT Station (Circle Line).

Good Words from Our Clients

“I had sustained a lumbar spine annular tear and was experiencing persistent leg aching. Keren came highly recommended by colleagues who had attended sessions with her, and she knew exactly what to do to support my condition. Over time, she helped me improve my posture and muscle tone, and now the pain is much improved.

What stands out to me is how peaceful the studio environment is. Keren is highly professional and knows anatomy so well that even as a medical professional, I find myself learning new things from her every day. She also shares helpful health tips and her calm, steady presence makes me feel that I am in good hands. Every session is tailored to my condition, and she makes sure I am doing it correctly — something that can sometimes be missed in a group class setting.

Beyond the studio, I’ve definitely noticed changes in how I move. My posture has improved significantly. I don’t slouch anymore. In the past, it took conscious effort to maintain good posture but now it comes much more naturally. I used to experience back and leg aches after standing for long periods but with improved muscle tone and greater awareness of my posture, this has improved a lot.”
