Pilates Conservatory®

Learn to teach Pilates the way our body was designed to move every day.
The art of Pilates teaching is not instruction alone. It is the moment your client understands their body and carries that knowledge into how they move every day.
“The body has a design. When we work with that design — not against it — every exercise becomes an opportunity for the nervous system to remember what it already knows.”

Pat Guyton, Founder, Pilates Conservatory®

What Is Pilates Conservatory®?

Developed by Second Generation Master Teacher Pat Guyton, Pilates Conservatory® is a comprehensive teacher training and continuing education programme.

Classical Roots,
Evolving Practice

Deeply rooted in Joseph Pilates' classical method, the Pilates Conservatory® approach is informed by four decades of movement science, anatomical study and hands-on teaching experience.

Digestible Anatomy & Imagery Cues

At the heart of Pat's approach is what she calls digestible anatomy — making anatomical principles accessible and relatable through simple imagery cues.

Critical-Thinking Teachers

Pilates Conservatory® trains teachers to understand the intention behind each exercise — developing the capacity to observe, analyse and adapt in real time. Pat calls this the art of sequential teaching, based on progression and feedback from the body.

Return to Life—And Function

The goal of Pilates is not performance for its own sake. It is to help the body return to its natural alignment, restore joint mobility, and support the activities of daily life with ease and confidence.

ThirdGen Pilates is the first Pilates Conservatory® studio in Asia.

We host Pat Guyton’s comprehensive teacher training programme, workshops and online classes. Led by Pat and assisted by Keren, our courses emphasise anatomy, posture and bio mechanics within pilates exercises.

Good Words from Our Teacher Trainees

Yumo Pan

"Pat is phenomenal. In just five days, I experienced so many 'aha' moments and felt connections in my body that I never had before. Her “Digestable Anatomy”, combined with her creative and accessible imagery, brought the essence of Pilates to life for me. This experience has been priceless indeed, truly capturing what I believe Pilates should be like. I am so grateful and excited to learn more from Pat in the coming year!"
